AC Tune-Up in Scottsdale, North Phoenix, Cave Creek and Surrounding Areas
During the cold winter season, air conditioners normally remain unused for months at a time. As a result, the refrigerant in the unit may find a way to escape, motors may also freeze to a stop while electrical connections can get loose. The thermostat can also go off calibration due to lack of use. When summer approaches, therefore, the air conditioner may not be ready for use.
Failing AC Unit
When turned on, the unit may fail to start. If it starts, there might be no cooling. If the unit provides some cooling, it may not be able to turn off when the set temperature is achieved due to a faulty thermostat. To ensure your air conditioner meets all your cooling needs during the hot months of the year, you may want to consider getting AC tune-up well in advance. At LJ Refrigeration, we understand the importance of having an AC tuned up.
AC Tune Up Process
Our AC tune-up process starts with an inspection of the air conditioner. The air handler and condenser units are inspected for problems. If anything is out of place, the problem is noted and fixed. In case of a split AC system, the condenser may be installed on the ground outside. Our technicians will start by clearing the area around the unit to ensure airflow is not obstructed. Both the air handler and condenser will be opened up and cleaned.
Air Conditioning Tune-Up Process
Our technicians will clean the coils, fan blades and every other surface in the AC machine. The air filter will also be replaced and refrigerant gas refilled. Loose electrical connections will be fastened and faulty parts replaced. Our technicians will also perform any repairs that may be needed. The tune-up process cannot be complete without lubrication of all the moving parts.
